About the Candidate

A calm, steady voice for Catholic families.

Why I Am Running

Catholic education deserves thoughtful, accessible leadership.

Families need trustees who understand that strong schools are built through trust: trust in Catholic mission, trust in open communication, trust in careful stewardship, and trust that every student will be supported with dignity.

Catholic Identity

Support schools where prayer, service, sacramental life, and Catholic culture are visible and lovingly lived.

Parent Voice

Make communication clear, respectful, and responsive so families know they are heard before decisions are made.

Student Success

Focus on literacy, learning support, safe schools, and the practical conditions every child needs to thrive.

Issues / Priorities

Practical commitments for parents and students.

Each priority is framed around the same question: what will make Catholic schools clearer, safer, stronger, and more faithful for families?

Student achievement and literacy

Parents deserve clear reporting, early support, and classroom resources that help students build strong foundations.

Ask for plain-language achievement updates, targeted reading supports, and transparent progress measures.

Special education and student support

Families should not have to fight to understand services or be included in plans for their children.

Improve communication timelines, parent-facing guides, and board attention to support gaps.

Safe schools and well-being

Every student should be known, protected, and supported in a school climate rooted in dignity and respect.

Strengthen reporting, prevention, pastoral care, and practical help for students and staff.

Fiscal responsibility

Board resources should be directed toward classrooms, student needs, and accountable local priorities.

Review budgets carefully, explain tradeoffs plainly, and keep families informed about major spending decisions.

Catholic Values

Faith-informed, respectful, and focused on mission.

A Catholic trustee should protect the mission of Catholic education while treating every family with dignity. That means supporting faith formation, prayer, pastoral care, parish relationships, and parents as the primary educators of their children.

Support Catholic teaching and school mission

Respect parents as primary educators

Encourage prayer, service, and sacramental life

Promote accountability without combative politics
